EA Symmons is one of Ireland’s most trusted home and lifestyle distributors — a third-generation family business with a strong legacy. Ahead of their 75th anniversary, they saw an opportunity to evolve: becoming more digital, more scalable, and future-ready.

We were brought in to modernise the brand and build an ecommerce experience that could power the next chapter — one rooted in heritage, but designed to lead.

Branding the Future

We didn’t wipe the slate clean — we built on it. The new identity reinterprets the brand’s history with a bold, digital edge: updated colours, a more versatile typeface, a distinct brand avatar, and a 75-year mark that celebrates the journey.

That spirit carried through into a custom ecommerce platform. UX decisions were shaped by how customers already ordered — making the journey simpler, faster, and more intuitive. Designed to feel like a consumer experience, built for a B2B audience.

This wasn’t design for design’s sake. It was strategic — built to support a more service-led, scalable model as the business grows.
